2009 has been a bit silent for JTN but it started its quota with a long weekend visit to Valparai in search of the Endangered Lion Tailed Macaque. The journey went across the the various tea estates of the town adding atleast a dozen of lifers for birds especially raptors.

A short but a very important travelogue is coming in few days which will be hilighting some of the disturbing scenes the LTMs of Valparai are facing in their everyday life.
